I have been on the pill for over a year, went off it and got my regular period back only to decide right after that I should be on the pill. I had my last period may 25th and had unprotected s_x on June 5th, had 2 days of spotting on the 10th and haven't had a period since. I'm a little over 2 weeks late on my period but my HPT was negative. Do you think I could be pregnant but just not getting a positive due to low hcg levels? Very curious and concerned. If I don't get my period on Tuesday (3weeks since it should have come) I'll be going to tue doctors to be tested

This sounds more like an upset due to off-again on-again pill schedule. When did you re-start the pill, and is it the same kind? Sure, test at weekly intervals, and check with the gyno if you miss a second period. GL!

The thing i did was i came off my pill& my may25th period was my first regular period after coming off the pill, took me 6 weeks to get it. So the birthcontrol was fresh out of my system. On the 1st when my period ended i started taking it again, would that mean that it wouldnt have helped prevent me from getting pregnant? And that is my question. I had spotting when i came off the pill after being on it a week, i should have had a period, right? I had s_x on the 5th, I came off my pill on the 7th & i had spotting on the 10th. Its now the 10th of july and my stomach always feels tight, im nauseous almost all the time, whatever i eat makes me nauseous except deep fried wontons :/ like wtf is that.. My back hurts constantly, my stomach is upset And bloated, my lower abdomen is firm And im confused!

Maybe the test you took was too early. That hormone doubles every few days. You sure have enough signs to think of pregnancy. Test again, my dear, and let us know how it goes! GL

Congratulations! I take it you decided you were not pregnant last cycle and had another try. Go buy some prenatal vitamins and test again at the weekend just to make sure - the positive should be faster and stronger. The doc will not mind if you wait until missing a second period before visiting. GL!

Went to the doctor to get it confirmed and I'm 3 weeks pregnant today.

Hmm! So you think you got a faint positive when two weeks and five days pregnant? That is something for the record books, or you are having us on, or you are a month further along than you think. Come back and tell us how many weeks the doc thinks you are after she does your first trimester ultrasound. Congratulations anyway! GL!

Yes, I was farther along. I went from when I would have conceived but doctors go from first day of your last period. So technically I am 6 weeks and 3 days pregnant. I have told my parents and they are being very supportive. I'm having the baby and raising it with their support, I am due April 20th 2012 :)

Congrats! I am also 18. I found out yesterday ( day after missed period ) that I am 4 weeks along.

Just thought I would check in, I'm 31 weeks and 2 days pregnant now! Back on December 2nd I found out I was having a little boy, the father and I haven't spoken since that day. In a week I'm having a 3D ultrasound done and I'm beyond excited to see what my little one looks like, I'm so tired of just seeing his profile and can't wait to see his little features! He kicks like crazy but I love every second of poking him back and awaiting the next nudge I get from him :) very happy to have 60 days until my due date, can't wait to meet my sweet little man.

Great to see you back, and so excited. Sorry the dad is not being supportive. Let him be, and some day he will come around. This child is as much a part of him as it is of you, and eventually he will want to share. Stay positive, we are with you all the way.
