Had my 37 week appt. today. Im 1-2 cm dialated. He didnt say if im thinned or what station the baby is at. He did say he can feel her head through the membranes so she has dropped. He said to go ahead with our travel plans. He thinks ill be just fine. Just said as little walking as possible but to get up and walk a little every once in a while to prevent blood clots in my legs. Leaving Wednesday.
Blood pressure still high and swelling is bad but he doesnt think its full on preeclampsia.
Im measuring 40 cm which of course is 40 weeks. . He measured me and said "thats alot." ↑

That's good news! I'm glad you get to travel & don't have preeclampsia.

Oh this is getting exciting. Just a couple of hints-try to avoid salty foods. Before I went into the hospital I had the swelling and elevated bp but the doc didn't seemed concerned because it wasn't high compared to normal, just high for me. Anyway, I was craving carbs and salty foods. So the night before I made pizza. Made another the next afternoon, didn't drink enough fluids, took a nap and woke up with my brain feeling like it was going to explode. So just try to avoid foods that would normally raise blood pressure and drink plenty of fluids-just in case, you know. Anyway, hope you get to have some fun!

Thanks! Im still nervous though!
Yea my OB told me no more salt at my last my 36 week appt. because i was swelling so bad. I am a salt ADDICT! Its crazy how much i use on everything but i listened and didnt add any at all. I lost 7 lbs in a week because it was just water retention.
