So, i'm 5weeks pregnant and went in for my first check up today... I was suppose to be 7weeks, but when i went in the doctor said I was 5, because of my irregular menstrual cycle. he could see the sack, but no baby, and no heart beat... he also said there's a 1 in 4 chance that it could be a miscarrige.. I'm concerned, has this happened to anyone else?
it may be to ealry some people dont see the heartbeat until 8 weeks and the same with only seeing the sac i,ve heard of people seeing the baby at 6-7weeks dont stress your self out more than you need to good luck
I had an ulrasound at 5 weeks with my daughter and only the sac was visable. I was told i was going to have a miscarriage. Well that sac is now my 16 month old little girl!
Most women don't get a heartbeat that early on, i didn't. Try not to worry too much, i know that is easier said than done but in a few weeks you will know for sure. In the mean time stay healthy, take your prenatal vitimines, and get plenty of rest, good luck to you.
This exact thing happened to me...they told me that I did miscarry (I didn't)...my daughter ended up having Turner's syndrome, and had less than a 1 percent chance of surviving (me not miscarrying). She is a beautiful 3 year old girl, and is perfect! She doesn't even have a lot of the symptoms of Turner's except she's very little. Don't stress yourself out about it, because that could actually cause you to miscarry! Relax, and I'm sure everything will be fine!
