Anyone Else Has This Problem

Ellie wears 0-3 month sizes right now and they're getting a bit snug on her, so I went into her closet to get one size up (size 3 months) and it is HUGE! It's practically swallowing her whole! I've never had this problem before and I've moved from premie, to newborn, to 0-3 months. I don't know whether or not I should keep her in the 0-3 month sizes that are a tad tight, or make her wear a tent! I've had to buy the longer, skinner onesies since she was born because she's tall and skinny so regular ones don't fit her. Maybe that's the problem?

Shes probably just between sizes right now. I think most babies go through that. You'll have it again at 6 months. Rylie wore premie for like a month though she was born a normal weight. 7lbs 2oz. I also had to buy the long skinny onesies. All the other ones were boxy shaped. Short and wide,

The are boxy! I don't get the purpose of that. How many boxy children have you seen? She's wearing the 3 month sizes and she looks so silly... but at least it's comfortable for her.

hmm...around here most chilren are box shaped. Mostly the cardboard variety. Her comfort is of the upmost importance. She doesnt care is she looks silly or not, lol.

I dunnooooo she started crying when I was changing her! Just kidding she always cries, she hates being changed for some reason. Cardboard you say?! Do they come with happy faces drawn on in sharpie?

No actually they're big, round, yellow smiley faces on a stick and they just kind of hold em in front of their face. Rylie always cried when something went over her face. Besides that she was fine with being changed. I always had to stretch the neck as big as i could and be like lightening fast with it. Now if i dont do it quick enough she pulls it off and throws it on the floor.

i saw these things in a magazine i get called One Step Ahead and they're little extenders for onsies. you might look into those. they just snap onto the little snaps at the bottom and give you another inch or two in length.

I'm thinking of purchasing some of those extenders, because the 18 mo onesies fit her beautifully except for length etc.

The 3 month onesies are supposedly for babies 6-15 pounds I'm like YEAH RIGHT! Ellie is about 10 pounds I can't imagine what they would be like on a 6 pound baby!
