i am having sharp pains that feel alot like contractions but i know there not (if you know what i mean) the only thing i can think of is that they are braxton hicks, now Jon said that I did have this with Dominik but i didnt complain as much about it im only 24 (almost 25) weeks,... could the pains just be the booger sitting on a nerve, or could they braxton hicks??

Sharp pains? That doesn't sound like Braxton Hicks, or at least not the ones I had. It is possible the baby is sitting on a nerve if that's what it feels like. You may want to call your doctor to make sure.

My bh feels like sharp pains :( IT may also be ligaments and such too. You never know.

mine don't hurt at all most of the time. my heart just starts to beat really hard and then i feel my tummy tighten. sometimes i'll get a cramp or two afterwards, but usually not.

im not really sure what it is at times it feels like a pinched nerve but other times the pains feel like contractions :S

well...this is my first, so honestly, i have no idea what i'm feeling or if i should be feeling pain lol.

Well about 32 weeks into my pregnancy I started getting symptoms of preeclampsia, I spent ten hours in the hospital while they ran all sorts of tests... turns out little Ellie was just sitting on my blood vessels making me light headed and dizzy. That being said, I think it's very likely your little one could be pushed against a nerve when you get braxton hicks. I hear some people have painful braxton hicks, but unless it feels like "OH MY GOD I'M IN LABOR!!" I wouldn't worry about it.

i'm still not used to mine. i was laying down on my couch earlier and i had 2 or 3 within an hour. but they chilled so i'm not worrying. and i've noticed my heart only thumps when i'm laying down. my little fat beanie is probably crushing my arteries lol.
