I need some... help. I have posted on a few forums, and emailed a few sites... so why not another? Anyways, I'm 18 years old and I am in a commited relationship. I have been a virgin up until recently. Him and I were intimate with eachother and we took the precaution of using a condom. However, I'm not on birth control.
Now here is where my problem comes in. I'm aware that condoms break... and that I could get pregnant the first time I engage in such acts... Well... Like I said, I'm 18 now and I first got my period in the sixth grade, around.. 11 or 12. My last natrual period was around seventh grade.
I don't menstrate normally... or at all for that matter. That leads me to believe that I don't drop eggs, which means even if something did go wrong... that I couldn't get pregnant. What I want to know if this is a vaild thought?
When I asked my doctor why I wasn't menstrating a few years back, she told me that it was nothing to worry about (Which I don't buy) and that it was becuase I was a bit overweight (Something else I don't buy.) So what am I to think? Should I worry? The obvious answer is to just put myself on birth control. But I still want some answers.
THanks to anyone who wouldn't mind responding.

My opinion is that at 18 you should be menstruating - at 15 it was less of a worry. I believe you are correct in thinking that absent menstruation, pregnancy is not a concern - there is no receptive lining to the uterus, even if you should happen to ovulate. It would be interesting to know what your temperature chart looks like - a temp jump usually indicates ovulation. My guess is that you are flat-lining. Anyhow, if you can afford it, a thorough doctor check-up would be in order. GL!
