You can apply for free state insurance. A rough estimate would around $20,000. The hospital stay alone with a standard v____al delivery is $5,000-$10,000. That is if you dont require a c-section and your baby is born perfectly healthy and requires no neonatal care. Add on the cost of 9 months of prenatal appointments, tests, and ultrasounds. Its around $1,500 for the necessities you need at home to bring baby home. Not to mention if you dont/cant b___stfeed the cost of formula runs around $300 a month.

I got on government a__sistance because I couldn't work anymore during my pregnancy, and you'd be suprised what kind of programs they will naturally hook you up with. After all was said and done I only paid about 450 dollars in prenatal visits, including ultrasounds and tests. I thought I'd be paying for the next ten years for my hospital stay but during my last OB appointment they pulled me into an office and said I qualified to have the whole delivery covered. So no one can really tell you for sure. It depends on where you live and what programs they have available. When I went to the pregnancy clinic they always gave me information that got me ready for whatever was coming up. Government a__sistance stuff dealing with pregnancy is constantly trying to promote better care and better parenting, etc. In one booklet they had estimates of the costs with each major medical carrier, with no insurance, etc etc. It was really helpful. That's why I suggested in the other post that you try to get in contact with a clinic like that. It may be what you need just starting out with all of this.

thousands without any kind of insurance. my portion just for the delivery and just for the doctor's charges was around 250 meaning it cost 2500 and then there was about 3500 for the hospital's bills. all of the sonograms probably totaled around 2000 at least and then there's labs and doctor's visits. you could easily top 10 to 15,000.

hmm lets see...i cant remember how uch everything cost but I know the most exspensive part was the fact that my c-section was emergency...they charge literally 3 times the amount of everything pertaining to the c-section, because it was emergency....medication was the next worse cause i was on so much for my bp, and everything else....oh but funny story...right before my recent surgery, I was in the hospital. I have very bad veins, and it took them 6 tries to get the IV in. when i got the statment in the mail. they charged the insurance all 6 times they stuck me 200 dol...then the last 2 times was 600 each...haha the insertion of the IV was more exspensive then the morphine they had me on. The morphine was 16 bucks for each dose they gave me
