Basicly I went to a doctor for a throat infection. The doctor acted like a tool to begin with, but here is where it gets irritating. I'm 18. I asked this doctor. "I am on Tricyclin. Will penicillin effect the way it works?" He said no. I asked "Is there a chance it will decrease it's effectiveness?" He said no. Now Doctors usually give good advice. But he was very very wrong.
Needless to say, Now at 5 weeks pregnant - I am well aware that penicillin effects birthcontrol! And I am also aware that said doctor needs to get a slap in the face and go back to med school.
Lucky for me, my fiance was very excited and neither set of parents are angry. My partner and I are both out of highschool, I am in college and he works.
I'm not even dissapointed or upset, as we feel that we will handel it.
But that doctor... if I ever see him again...

Sue him for medical malpractice and settle for child support! Oh, you are in England - they don't sue like the Yanks - never mind!

No, I'm in Canada! :P
I wish I remembered the doctors name! I would sue him to the bone!
I'll track him down. I'm fine where I am, but I don't want this to happen to anyone else!
