I'm bored-well h__l, I'm procrastinating! I'm tired of homework-anywho, for all of the mommies-to-be, what is your greatest fear about labor and your newborn? And mommies out there, what was your greatest fear, and how'd it turn out?

I was really scared of premature labor, miscarriages, labor horror stores, having her be put in the NICU.... Normal stuff like that. I was also scared one day I'd just wake up and not be pregnant anymore. Just like oops belly is gone and no baby! But, everything was great, it went really smoothly and she's happy and healthy. NOW I'm scared of a heck of a lot more things. SIDs, SBS, suffocation, brain damage and any other kinks, dings, hits, scratches, bruises and bumps she might possibly acquire.

My greatest fear with Addy - LABOR! lolI was TWEAKIN!!! With this one, losing her. Miscarriage or premature labor.. :(

i am a really grouchy person with some leftover anger issues from my really bad first marriage. my wonderful hubby now says i have battered wife syndrome and although i'm a lot better, i can still get really p__sy really fast and i'm scared of being a bad mom.

Teddy-I think you'll be a great mom. I think sometimes because of our fears of how horrible we can be, we don't see the good in ourselves. Your att_tude in these boards-how you deal patiently and dish it when it needs it, shows you'll be a great mom.

My greatest fear when I was pregnant was of having a stillborn baby. I dn't know why-I think it had to do with the fact that I couldn't wrap my head around the idea of me growing a healthy life inside of me and it coming out to be another person. It was just too amazing.
