When people go about ragging on how teen mothers are bad and how getting pregnant as a teen is a bad thing, those people should be ashamed. Mistakes happen on daily basis and if it happens then deal with it. However, i understand when people go and rag on people who are 14 years old and "want" a child right now...that is irresponsible, but there is no need for condemming people who simply make mistakes within their lives. Everyone has their own ways of handling things, and if they choose to be unprotective, let them. I am 19 years old, i don't think i'm pregnant, however i am questioning it at the moment. It hurts when people tell me that i was "irresponsible" and "not ready" yet both things are probably true it isn't necessary when someone is simply asking for help on the subject of pregnancy. It changes lives forever and people should realize that what is said can impact people in ways they didn't think was rude, to them it could be. Sorry this is so long, i just wanted to state it because i was just looking for help and answered questions possibly. Thanks

Look. You were being irresponsible. Sorry. I was irresponsible too, that's why I had a baby when I was 17. Everyone has their irresponsible moments and the most immature thing you could do about them is say that you weren't being irresponsible when you clearly were. Your age has nothing to do with it, if you don't want to get pregnant you should use birth control. End of story. I don't care if you're 14 or 40, if you're having s_x and don't want a baby you should do something about it. An excuse that you don't have money, or you don't feel like your boyfriend should pay for it, or you think you are infertile... dumb excuses. Birth control can be free, your boyfriend is just as responsible of preventing against pregnancy as you are, and even if you did have issues in conception, people who are told "you can never have kids" still get pregnant sometimes. Don't be stupid, don't use stupid excuses, and don't feel like this is an insult. You were irresponsible, you aren't ready for a baby. Hey, neither was I. Big deal. It happened anyway even though it really shouldn't have. I'm not saying I regret my daughter, I love her to death, but she's alive today because I was an irresponsible idiot. I'm sorry you were irresponsible but jeeze just admit that you were. You'll think a lot more clearly when you do.

i fully admit i am irresponsible in a lot of things that i do daily even i wasn't saying that i wasn't being irresponsible, but for others that are on these forums too they probably know that they are irresponsible for doing stupid things and u know those 1 drunk nights even as a teenager are stupid. it wasn't that i was pointing anyone out for anything said i was just adding that part in because when i type i can't seem to stop. HA but besides that point i think it is more foolish for people to go on and start demeaning people on here who are just concerned about them, i have read stories (ya i have no life sometimes) and there are some who just straight up are rude to people who ask a simple question. i think everyone should have their input (sometimes critical) but atleast answer their question too in doing so LOL
