Well I enjoyed my helliday with my mom who made a mess of everything she cooked because she was drunk. Umm....yeah-I don't eat turkey and am on a diet so food wasn't exciting. The little man had fun though-but it was hell. My nerves are so bad now that my OCD habits are trying to come back. UUURRGH! Also it made me miss my ex-he always saved me from the family portion of holidays. It's about the only thing I'm missing about him, but yeah-fun fun fun! Please tell me everyone else's thanksgiving was much more fun.

My Thanksgiving was okay. I wouldn't call it fun though. I went to my uncle's house with my grandma, Harold and Ellie because my dad may have possibly considered coming to my house for thanksgiving so I bolted. We left the house at like 8am and since we were going to be there the entire day I had to bring practically the entire nursery with me. When we got there we went out for breakfast and Ellie was mad because she was hungry and she hates eating in the car so she never fills up when we're out. Then we got back and watched a thousand episodes of Reno 911 and the beginning of Hook (I love that movie, I'm sad I didn't see the whole thing) until dinner was ready. The food was pretty good. We had a 15 pound turkey for 4 people haha.

LOL! I think I'd say that is a good thanksgiving. I mean lets be honest-thanksgiving in movies is like where everyone loves eachother, they all sit around enjoying each other's little idiosyncracies, etc and so on. Well in reality thanksgiving is when a bunch of clashing personalities get together and make things uncomfortable and people throw food in their mouths so they don't have to say what's on your mind. Well your Thanksgiving sounds way better than that, so I'd count that as a good one. On another note-isn't it funny to think about what running to someone's house or even the quick shop took when it was just you, as compared to having to pack your entire house when you go somewhere with your child. You kind of have to laugh about it. I even laugh looking back because when B was Ellie's age I totally overdid it!!! LOL!! It's now that he's bigger because it's a waste to take things other than necessities because he's gonna be more excited about jumping in leaves than a house full of his knick-knacks and toys. Oh God Amanda, I just had a thought-this is going to be you and Ellie's first christmas together!!!! What's the game plan?

amanda17 - November 30

I know!! I don't have any plans haha. I'd like to spend Christmas with my family... like all of them except my dad haha :) But it's pretty much up to him because everywhere he goes I don't go. I know it'd be a c___ppy Christmas if he was there so we'll see what happens. What about you?

This was my thanksgiving.Went to my sisters tiny apartment with dh and kids, watched my sister get drunk with her friends, ate some went home, and I am still trying to get over the horrible food poisening i got.......Nope im not joking

Oh my god!! That's what happens when you let the drunks cook the food! LOL! I'm sorry honey! Amanda-I'm not really sure what I'm doing for Christmas. I want to stay home and have a Christmas but then it'd just be me and Baker, which is sad in a way but way better than having to deal with some of these weirdos around here. The problem is if I stay home, my mom will insert herself into all of this. I'm gearing up for WWIV (you missed the third one) because my mom is tripping over some dude, and she's one of those types that finds a way to blame everything on her kids and having to be a mom!! UGGHHH!!! I'm not in the mood. So I'm thinking about renting a car and heading to spend christmas with my dad-and you know that that's got to be a desperate move because we all know I HATE HATE HATE driving! All in all, I'd do anything just to give my kiddo a good christmas, you get me? One without drama, drunks, cruelty-just love, happiness, the smell of the tree, and people being happy and full of love and excitement.

I absolutely agree. In fact I think everyday should be happy and drunken-family free. That's why my dad hasn't seen Ellie since she was a few weeks old. Luckily his interest to see her quickly faded so it wasn't too much of a ha__sle. Now if I can only get rid of my sister....lol :P

Was I the only one that had a c___pppppp TG? lol. Addy was terrible at the in laws, and I left hungry. It was really weird because I hadn't seen them for WELL over a year, so no one had any idea that I was even pregnant.. so they took one look at me, looked at Jeff and was like "O_O" and because the last time I saw them (december of... 06) Addy was a newborn...so.. it was awkward to say the least.

Yea well I though considering the woman is 3 years my elder that she would have the common sence to.......................wait a minute what am I talking about my sister doesn't have any common sence!!!!! I guess what I was getting at was......I thought she was at least smart enough to keep the uncooked turkey away from everything else that was going to go in our mouth........I am still so sick!!

i found out on Thanksgiving that my favorite aunt pa__sed away an hour after i left the hospital visiting her.

V9653 - December 2

Aw, I'm so sorry to hear that. God these holidays have been a__s stinky! I'm praying Christmas is better for all of us! God I need Christmas to be better. I guess no matter what I am going to be thankful for Christmas because my custody arrangement says that for visitation you know who has to call 30 days in advance, well no call! I haven't heard from him since January, and God it's like being free. The terror is over, and it ain't popping up to ruin anything. I thought for sure he'd be back around for Christmas and want to cause terror for me but I'm FREE to have peace with my bay bay!!!! Hey, we have to think positive. Oh yeah, you guys will have your little bay bays for Christmas so it's going to be good no matter who or what tries to ruin it!!!! Newbaby-I'm really sorry for what you are going through. I lost my favorite aunt last year around Thanksgiving, and I would never wish that on my greatest enemy. I wish i could give you a big hug, or send you a great surprise present-just wish there was something I could do, but I send you my love and I'm here for you. Bug Higs to you my dear!
