GIRL!! lol they didnt do my scan BUT the doctor was amazing and told me without a doubt based on my babys heartbeat it was a little girl, i know that they say its a wives tale but he has been doing htis for 30 yrs n she said that he only was ever wrong once and that was his first year lol so im REALLY excited !! lol he will confirm it for sure at my next scan

This baby has the same heart rate as my daughter and we were told 90 % boy. Maybe you have a magic doctor :) No but seriously, girls are great, I am sure if you are having one you'll have so much fun.

Don't get your hopes up just in case. My friend was told at her scan that the baby would be a girl & at every appointment it even had a hb to match. The poor thing bought sooooo many girl things, then got the shock of her life when they delivered the baby & the doctor said congrats on your little boy. She was like 'boy? no it's a girl check again'. Obviously she loves her little boy, but now that he's 3yrs she jokes that he should have been a girl, because he's into dolls & hates getting his hands dirty or muddy. Anyway I hope you get your girl but don't count on the hb to be an accurate way of telling, cause like you or me, our hb fluctuates depending on what we're doing eg: moving, sleeping.

i'm hoping this isn't the post you were talking about saying what the baby would be because while the doctor may be right, it is NOT a valid way to check the gender and any other doctor would laugh at this doctor for saying if it's a boy or girl based on heartbeat. if it's not the one you were talking about, tell me which one so i can read it, though. otherwise, nothing is going to be "confirmed" but "finally checked out". heartbeats don't beat a certain way for p___ses or v____as.

I didnt post the last time i went into my doctors, i went in i thikn it was aug 28 or 29 cuz i was cramping laot and when she did my scan to make sure baby was okay i asked if she could see the gender, and she said yes, its a girl. pointed out the parts, BUT when i go bck into m y normal ultarsound tech im going to ask her to confrim what the hospital said, and angelmonkey you moron i tried to explain that to you in my HAPPY:D post but you werent reading much less paying attention to anything.!

no ashley im sorry but if you read this post you cleary say you didnt have a scan but the doctor told you a girl of th eheartbeat! am i wrong? no its there in writing, wether you,ve had a scan (which i doubt you did) in august that has confirmed a girl is irelavent as you "were" going of the heartrate. sorry but you cant argue that because its right here!

ashley: i'm glad you're doing better and i know exactly what you mean. the u/s tech has told me girl twice, but i'm still going to ask her to check on the 3d lol. **angel** she just said she didn't post about her last doc's appointment since the heartbeat prediction. relax. you should remember what happened last time you tried to grow b___s here.
