Negative Pregnancy Tests Still No Period

I'm on birth control and i usually get my period within the first day or 2 of my placebo pills, but i am on the 5th day and have had nothing...I took 2 pregnancy tests on the 3rd and 4th days after i shouldve started and they were both negative, could there be any possible explaination to missing my period besides being pregnant???

As I mentioned on another post birth control totally confuses me. So I am only minimal help in this. There are several other reasons you may miss your period, it could just be late as well. You can go to your doctor and I'm sure the first thing he will do is take a pregnancy test which will be more accurate than an at home test. If it comes out negative again I'm sure your doctor will fish around for some explanation for you. Good luck.
