me and my boyfriend had unprotected s_x and the next day i took the plan B emergency contraceptive pill and unfortunently and i know stupid on my part we had unprotected s_x again the day after i took the pill its been about a week and normally i am very irregular and i go 4 maybe 5 months at a time with out a period yesterday i got what i thout was my period but it was weird it did not bleed consistantly or bery much but did not seem to be light such as implantation bleeding would be. all this happened about a week ago and now i have mild cramps and lower back pain and subtle br___t tenderness do you think i could be pregnant or just a coincedense that my period after missing it for so many months decided to come. i have not yet taken a pregnancy test because i thought it would prove pointless seeming how this hole ordeal only took place a week or a week and a half ago. what should i do......??? insight??

Wait for a couple more weeks and then take a test. PlanB is a strong dose of hormones which can promote an irregular cycle, bleeding, and signs of pregnancy. Please buy your own condoms, learn how to put them on your partner, and don't let an undressed p___s near your v____a until it is time to start a family. Good luck!

Wait a week at least and take a test. Or like Grandpa viv says, two weeks even.

Wait another week or as long as you can wait and take a text. You should have those symptoms so soon. The baby would only be cells right now. But the b___st tenderness, maybe. I did anyway. I just had b___st tenderness, and was FREAKING TIRED, but i didn't start getting tired until a month or so after conception. But i guess everyone is different.
Dont stress to bad. Just wait, take a test and then stress if it is positive!
If its negative, be more careful, and good luck

The hormones in it canbring on a bleed to stop any fertilised egg implanting... thats part of how it works.
I think you should see a doctor about your periods though. Sounds like you could have PCOS. Ovulating gives your body oestrogen, and I was told this is essential for healthy bones. If you're not producing it it can increase your risk of getting osteoporosis. Also your future fertility can be at risk, so I'd go get your hormone levels checked

RACHEL2121....
You NEED to go to the doctor. Go apply for ACCCHS, try adding your mom if need be, and once you get approved get a pap smear, and talk to your doctor about everything that is concerning you.
If you are having unprotected s_x, you need to at least have insurance. My opinion anyway. That way if something happened like you getting pregnant, or getting an STD at least you know you are covered.
Just think about it even if you lost your verginity to him, and he says he lost his to you, doesnt mean that you dont have an STD... Has he ever given, or recieved oral from another girl, or even kissed another girl, and that other girl gave some STD infested guy oral, so now your guy has it, you have it.
Just be careful. STD's are really scary, and you need to get yourself checked.
Good luck, i hope everything checks out okay, and i hope you get accepted.

Insurance that the government offers people that dont have health insurance, and that cant afford it, or their job doesn't offer it.
It is absolutely free, and it covers everything that accepts ACCCHS insurance.
If you dont know where to go to get it.
Go to the website
google Department of economic security
then click on the first one i believe, and the second column 2nd one down it has the health insurance thing on there.
I would just send you the URL but this thing wont let me.
