I work for an award winning production company producing a cable doc_mentary about teenage pregnancy in America. We hope to capture what pregnant teens—
from varying backgrounds—experience in their relationships and lives as a result of their pregnancies. We are particularly interested in hearing what it’s like to be pregnant and attend school. We would also like to explore whether it is possible to continue school after giving birth, while juggling the unique demands of parenting and schoolwork.
We are looking for middle school and high school aged girls who are currently pregnant and are due to deliver sometime between September 21 and November 7th.
We are interested in the following scenarios but if you have a good story that does not exactly fit the questions below, please share it with us!
• Were you planning to attend college but then got pregnant and are now struggling with the choice between keeping the baby or giving the baby up for adoption?
• Do you plan to give your baby up for adoption and already have a family lined up?
• Are you currently dropping out of school or have you recently dropped out of school because of the pregnancy?
• Are you currently pregnant and part of a teen support group that has provide support during your pregnancy?
If you are interested in learning more, or would like to be considered for this doc_mentary please send us an email to: cabledoc_mentary-at-gmail.com and make the subject heading “PREGNANT TEEN MOM DOC” or call me at 917-968-9317. Please provide your contact info, name, age, due date and area that you live. If you get my voicemail, please leave a message.
Thank you and we hope to hear from you!
