Possible Pregnancy And A Dumb Doctor

A few weeks ago, I had been having to urinate very frequently. It got to the point where I'd almost wet myself if I wasn't in the restroom on time. A few days later, along with an uncomfortable, somewhat painful feeling in my va___a, I had a light pink discharge. This occured in small amounts about once a day for three days. I went to a doctor, who "doubted" I was pregnant, without giving me a pregnancy test. And prescribed Provera, to "clean out your uterus, if you know what I mean". This all confused me, as I'm only 19 years old. The painful, uncomfortable feeling has cease, but I still have not started my period. I don't know if what I experienced could be pregnancy or not, but I'd really like advice from people who know. And I am not wanting to take a pregnancy test, yet for fear of it being negative for being too early. I would really love a response, to ease my mind from all this mess!

Are you sure he didn't give you a pregnancy test? At my hospital every time they take a urine test they check without telling you. Just so they won't give you anything that you shouldn't be taking, or exclude the possibility. If you missed your period a pregnancy test would be accurate by now. Go ahead and take one.

You should take a home pregnancy test to make sure. If it's negative I suggest going back an getting a blood test. Or maybe going to a different doctor.
