I'm 17 and in 1 month and 3 weeks I'll be 18 and might be pregnant. I took a pregnancy test and it came out positive and to be sure I took another one and it came out negative. Can I be pregnant?

Yes you can. Their might not be enough pregnancy hormone in your system to register consistently on a test. Wait another day and take a test with first morning urine. Or if you can't wait, make sure you hold your pee for 3-4 hours and then test. Drinking a lot of water can dilute it. Also, it is not common to have false positives, but false negatives happen frequently. Good luck!

Sure you could be. Go to the doctor and ask them to take a blood test, it will be more accurate.

i think you might be pregnant, but to really test right, you should pee into a clean sterile cup and then test multiple times. that way you know you're using the same amount of concentrated urine as the first test. if you peed again right away it might be diluted. i was 8 weeks pregnant and tested once and got super dark positive. tested right after and got a lighter positive.
