Need some advice from a mother of a teen who has had a child. How do you cope? How do you deal with what you fear is the worst mistake your child is making for her future? How do you not kick her out to the curb? I know if I let her stay here then my life is gone for the next say 5 years? I am done raising kids, I do not, I refuse to, raise this child for her but I know she likes to walk all over me, I let her sometimes she is my daughter. How do you cope?

Congratulations on seeing your genes into the next generation! You and your child and your grandchild are going to have to team up and work your way through this. Start to treat her now like the adult she is going to have to become. I think you will find that with your experience it will be less stressful this time. You may even find yourself loving the new baby more than you did the first. As the years go by you will realize the enormous contribution you have made, and you will be happier for it.
