heya im 18 and just found out that my girlfriend is pregnant she is also 18 , we have done several tests and they all are positive , we have been together for over 2 years and we reali do love each other. Firstly im at university and she is at college so i need to know if anyone knows if theres any help for us there. I don't know if id be better off leaving uni and getting a full time job or see if i can carry on and still support her. Secondly is telling both of our parents and how to go about it I know it needs to be done but I dont know how to tell them, especially because if we want to carry on our education we will need there support more than ever. Unfortunaly i know my parents may not approve of our situation so if worse come to worse would it be better to move out together and how would we be able to sort that out or if her parents are ok with it would it be better to move in with them (although this would reali frustrate my parents). If you have any other advice for a 18 year old expecting father please share it with me as im sure there will be alot more help you can offer me which id be most grateful for thanks :)

In my opinion you should get both sets of parents involved before you start making decisions. They may raise a stink, but in the long run this is their grandchild and they are going to want to the best for it. You could do the manly thing and be there to help her tell her parents. With that under your belt you could approach your own. I think you will find that between them they will ensure that you finish your education so that you are better able to support the family. Your wife can go back to school later, when the baby is old enough for day care or school. I a__sume your uni degree will be in a field where you can earn a living. All the best!
