Okay this is soooo unimportant, but I need some advice. This is sooo sad because my son is a year and a half, but I still haven't been able to juggle him and keeping up with myself. I mean I did pretty good when he was smaller because he slept more and I could put him in his bouncer and swing and go do my hair and fix myself up, but now...... I always look like c__p, I barely get dressed-maybe once a week. I have to admit it's done a number on my self-esteem. I streaked my hair with fuschia (the first time I've ever dyed myy hair) and that helped for a little while because it was self expression but now I can't even keep up with that. I feel like I've lost my ident_ty. So how do you guys do it???? I mean make time to make yourselves up, do your makeup, pamper yourselves-even friggin shave your legs (I know gross but on that note I don't grow much hair on my legs so I'm not sasquatch) and keep feeling like the same beautiful person you were before the baby????

What I do to shave my legs is put my daughter in the shower with me XD Then I lift them up just a bit higher. When it comes to looking nice and that I will keep her in our small bathroom and just keep an eye on her, give her a few of her toys while we are in there. Or a few of her snackies.

My daughter is 13 months and i dont have much of a problem with showering or getting ready. I usually shower when shes napping. Or if i get too busy cleaning while shes napping, i put her in her highchair with some snacks and juice. When getting ready shes usually fight beside me watchig what im doing. Or playing. We have baby gates up so i know shes not going to go anywhere shes not supposed to and i can alays hear her. I know alot of women have this problem but i never really have.

Just want to add when shes in her highchair, i put it right outside the bathroom door and leave the door open She also loves the game of peek-a-boo with the shower curtain. She eats and laughs and i get a pretty good shower in.

Yeah my problem is that I don't have a high chair, the shower wakes my son up when he's napping so that's out, and him playing in the bathroom doesn't work when showering because he does like a complete dive into the shower with me. God I wish I just had a regular shower-you know the kind that doesn't double for baths. You have to walk into it, there's a door and the handle would be too high for him.....I guess that's what I'll aim for whenever I move.
