This is a difficult question to answer and the reason is because you have to take your temp everyday and it has to be right when you wake up too. One temperature will tell you nothing because you have nothing to compare it to. You have to look at a whole cycle to get an idea. Generally before you ovulate your temps are on the low side. For me this meant they generally stayed below 97.8. Usually the day of ovulation they would hit their lowest, like 97 or below and then spike to as high as 98.6, but there would still be days after i ovulated that my temps would dip half a degree or so. And before i ovulated sometimes they would spike half a degree. The month i got pregnant did not look a whole lot different from a month i didn't get pregnant except that my temps continued to stay high instead of falling right when my period was due. The thing is my elevated temps might be someone elses lows, and my lows might be someones highs. My opinion is that charting is only good for figuring out ovulation not pregnancy, best way to know if you are pregnant is to take a test.

So that is about 96.8, which seems to me to be on the low side but without having a whole cycle worth of temps to compare it too it's impossible to say weather that is a higher than normal temp for you. Have you missed your period yet? if you have you can take a test, or if you are within a few days of it starting you can take an early response test. They are more sensitive and if you are pregnant it might show up. But like i said before determing pregnancy from taking your temp is not very accurate.

I think the best thing to do right now is wait to test and try not to stress out too much about it. The mind can have a tendency to play tricks on you and make you question if every little thing you feel is a sign of pregnancy or not.
