It is unfair. I know a girl who got pregnant and is now making her mother raise the baby. She used the baby as an attention tool and gave him lots of love when friends were around, but then her mother raises him half the time while she goes out with boys and what not. It is a sad reality indeed. Unfortunately speaking from experience when I was a teenager, they usually will hear you but need to find out for themselves before they'll learn anything. I understand where you're coming from though I really do. I feel bad for the babies and parents that suffer. I can't imagine ever having my parents raise my child, they did their time. I guess some still need to realize there's a difference between a helping hand and a parent. :)

Yes I agree with you. I suppose I'm still hoping words can make a difference because what else can I do? I find it difficult to sit back and not say anything. I hope she realizes it sooner rather than later... before it's too late.

Wait till she experiences that first night home from the hospital. That was always tons o' fun!

oh wow my son turns 4 in march and he has his little girlfriend who is the same age as him, and she will tickle him and he will say "no Chloe dont touch me like that!!! I love you but NOO!!".........hahahahahahahaha my 4 year old todler is more mature and responsible then these kids!!!!

Haha, I've been 18 for 4 1/2 months and I look back and think "I was so dumb when I was 17. Yeah that whole 4 months ago... I was such a loser!" I had a big ol' preggo belly and when people would ask me how old I was I'd be all proud to say "I'M 17 N' HAVIN A BABY!" Now when people ask "How old were you when you had your child." I get kind of embarra__sed and make sure they know I was just shy of 18.. Like there's a universe of knowledge, maturity, and responsibility between 17 and 18. It's silly. I've still got a b___tload of growing up to do.

HAHAHA ohhh man... I kept journals too. When I was 13 I had a crush on this guy Kenan, I liked him for maybe a week and after all my entries were done I'd write I love Kenan!! With all these little hearts and stuff around it haha. I also kept a journal when I was depressed, my therapist asked me to, and I was reading it the other day... I just kept thinking "God I was such a WHINER!!!" Hahaha. Like 90% of the things I was depressed about wouldn't even bother me anymore.
