i was s_xually involved with my boyfriend just a week ago. the period that i'm supposed to have is not coming and there is no signs of it coming.
we did use a condom during the activity. but is there a possibility of i'm pregnant? because people say condoms are not 100% safe. i'm scared!!

If the condom was used correctly and you had no penetration without the condom before or after he ejaculated and the condom was intact when you were finished, then your chances are slim. Usually condom failure is because it breaks or comes off during s_x because it was put on wrong. Because you are late for your period you need to take a test just to be sure.

Kimberly is right. Also, s_x one week before a regularly expected period is not high risk - ovulation is two weeks before. If this was a first for you, maybe the emotional upset has affected your cycle. Do you have PMS or early preg signs? Good luck!

i would say you're not pregnant. possibly you were having some stress around O time which could have delayed it a bit. don't worry yourself too much. just test once you're late and then again after a week. i'm sure she's coming.

it was the 2nd time we did it. my period has not come yet. its making me worried. we are absolutely not ready to have a child or start a family given our age.
any significant signs of early pregnancy that can be noticeable at this point of time?

heyy im in the same position that you are right now... its so scarey, im about a week late and my stomach has been feeling a little weird, i think im just stressed and im sure you are too...try and keep your mind off of it so your not worrying so much, thats what im trying to do, im gonna take a test within the next couple days , you should too, good luck!

The best thing you can do it to take a test. The relief of seeing the negative will put your mind at ease and stop the stress which will only delay your period more. Many women are nauseous, have a stronger sense of smell, headachy, mild cramps, lotion-like discharge, etc before they even miss their period and/or get their first positive test.

if he went in you too far or if it was your first time there is the possibility that it altered your cervix and you period could come late. it happened to me and my doctor said that is completely normal.
