ok im 16 yrs old and i got pregnant sometime in sep. i had a misscarriage either oct 31 or the 1st of the next month. i didnt know it was possible to get pregnant so soon after a MC. when i went to the drs for a follow up app. i askd for a test. after everything was done she came in and said the test was pos. i know im young and im not scared im really excited and hope this pregnancy turns out good =]. but my question is how far along would i be right now? bc i never got my period so i cant estimate. but i am far enough along for a test to come up positive. can anyone help??

i dont think anyone can answer that question for you but an ulltrasound, was it for sure a confirmed misscarriage, because some girls think they have one and they never did, was it confirmed on a ultrasound that there was no longer a baby in there, if so then you will have to try counting all over again, you need to be about 2.5-4 weeks to show up positive again depending on the girl, i dont show up pos until im about 6 weeks pregnant, your doctor will send you in for a dating ultrasound to find out for sure tho.

You can test positive for some time after a miscarriage even though you're not actually pregnant.

What did your doctor say? I would think she would be interested to know too. Has she set you up for an ultrasound appt. and a prenatal appt? If not you need to call and set that up. I would think 2 weeks after your miscarriage is the absolute earliest you could have ovulated, but there really is no way to know for sure except for an ultrasound. Good Luck.
