I communicate better with females. I think if I ever had a boy he'd grow up really fruity haha. I'm too emotional for boys, he'd probably spend a lot more time with his dad playing sports than with me. I'd be inside muttering about how to get gra__s stains out of his pants :P

haha newbaby: I was the same as you with weight gain I started at about 118, ended at 170 exactly...I gained alot of excess weight due to water retention from high bp, but I was TINY, you couldnt even tell that I was pregnant. even when I went in to get induced the ladies in triage were like...what is wrong with your pregnancy where you are getting induced this early...I was like I am not early I am past due...........but with my second I started at about 120 ended at 155, and the dr were always telling me i needed to eat more...I was SO big though! I gained very little weight in the first 7months because my morning sickness was SOOOO horible!!! Ugh I wanted my pregnancy to be over by the time I was 5 months...with my first I could have gone on forever it felt like!

The nurses asked me why I was being induced so early too... They were guessing I was like 6 or 7 months. I was like uh... actually she's coming in on her own haha. I gained a good 36 pounds, it just didn't show very much. I was 110 pre-pregnancy, so the extra pounds just kind of made me look normal haha.

Why are you going to have another one?

Not necessarily, my sister found out at 12 weeks (her son was measuring two weeks ahead) It just depends on how well the ultrasound tech does his/her job and how advanced the ultrasound machine is. But, she had a boy and boys are usually easier to tell than girls... especially when they are a bit *ahem* bigger than normal?

Yeaah it's not likely at ALL though. You have to have an AMAZING machine and AMAZING technician

amanda i dont know why i have another one i just got a letter saying you have a scan appointment on the 18th lol! addy it says on the letter they may be able to see the s_x but its up to the ob on wether they tell you because it depends on how sure they are and thats on machines that are just standard and done by normal qulified u/s tech,s it says you can actually find out at 13weeks earliest as thats when the s_x organs become visible but anyhows im going to wait until 19weeks to find out as them telling me at 14weeks wont be as accurate as 19weeks so i,d rather have a better percentage

oh and also people told me it was impossible to be feeling my baby at 13weeks but when i asked my midwife she said its quite normal and some people carry different and know what there feeling even if its there first! so just goes to show anything can happen, i mean i might have my scan and it could have a big "ahem ahem" and it copuld be really noticable lol! amanda thats amazing that your sister found out at 12weeks! well if she was messuring 2weeks ahead that would of made her 14weeks? i,ll be 14weeks 3days, im going to ask them to tell me if there like over 80% sure i think but i will still wait until 19weeks to buy pink or blue things lol

I didn't feel Addy till 16 weeks this one at 14 and I deffo wouldn't trust someone saying the s_x at 14 wks personally x_x; It's really common to not feel the baby for AWHILE when it's your first.

I didn't feel kicks until 19 weeks :( Anyway my sister and I both went to a private clinic to find out the genders... They have some crazy advanced stuff there and this huge flat screen TV that practically takes up the entire wall... which is a heck of a lot better than that tiny monitor you see the ultrasound in at the hospital. I saw the pictures from her 12 week ultrasound and even I could tell it was a boy. It looked like a jellybean with a head and a p___s hahaha

You look pretty normal to me for 13 weeks. I mean the angle of a couple of the pics makes you look bigger than the others, especially your profile pic. As for the feeling the kicking, you can feel it that early. It just depends on the position of the baby, and you being able to recognize it, especially since there are already so many weird things going on with your body in that area. I felt my son kick at 13 weeks (more specifically two days before the 14 weeks mark) and it was no doubt kicking!!! They say the usual range that women feel it is between 14 and 16 weeks but wiith your second child you can feel the quickening even earlier. Also quickening happens fairly early so it wouldn't be strange to hear a woman say she felt it at 9 weeks. It's not necessarily kicking but it's the spasming movement of their bodies as they are pretty much coming into life.

addy im not like going to trust them if they tell me lol i mean they give you a percentage they dont say its a girl or its a boy lol but im waiting until 19weeks to buy blue or pink things so im not like guna go by what they tell me this time around if they tell me, also i know its common NOT to feel your baby but i can at first i thought its just gas but its not i know what my gas bubles feel like lol some people say oh 13 weeks is way to early to feel it but im saying its my baby my midwife seems to think so to. V thats exactly what i started feeling at like 12 week like a quickening feeling a bit like b___terglys but now its like i can feel little kicks but i mean i have only noticed that last couple of days its happening quite alot to its doing it right now it feels like its summer sulting lol i cant wait to see it move on my scan on tuesday and see if that is what im feeling lol, im pretty certain though lol

It's okay, I'm 10 weeks and I feel kicking too, really hard in my gut. Oh look, it's a baby who obviously isn't in the mood to get her diaper changed right now! Haha, anywhooo...
