walking deffinatly dont help the braxton hicks. Then telling you to walk is just there way of trying to get you off your a__s and walk so the baby can move into position. what i found really helped was taking a bath, or i would lay on my side in the fetal position. When i was in pml with my first little on they told me not to rub my belly or not to let hubby rub my belly they said that stimulated contraction...when i would be sitting on my couch pregnant with #2 i would being having braxton hickk and i would do things to see what would stimulate them, so at the end of my pregnancy when it was time to just get baby out i could use some of those thingg.....nipple stimulation and belly rubbing at the same time was deffinatly the largest cause of bh and contractions when i was in labor

ashley seriously stop causing drama! let it go! breath in and breath out! calm yourself!....flid i wonder why walking does help with my BH? maybe its like teddy said and because she,s still quite small compared to what she will be soon? i dont know when i used to get period pains walking made them hurt more its not quite the same though i might talk to my midwife about it.......

Walking does help my braxton hicks. I really dont notice them until i sit down and then they hit like BAM!! They've been really bad the last 2 nights because i was on my feet constantly Friday and Saturday.

I'm trying to remember if walking helped mine... I remember trying to induce labor by sweeping (someone on the third tri board suggested it) I had something like 40 contractions that day (She was a summer baby and I was pretty much always dehydrated) anyway when I got up to sweep... not one freaking contraction. Then I sat down to rest... Badabing-badaboom.

maybe it has something to do with how large your baby is? i mean if both me and newbaby are 24-25 weeks and then both help but ashley and teddy are further along and it doesnt help maybe its got something to do with that

Well i remember with Rylie walking helped all the way up until i had her. Which sucked because i wasnt supposed to be on my feel at all. I had a stool at work and i had braxton hicks all day, but when i would walk back to clock out they were subdued for a little while. The good news is my braxtin hicks arent really painful, just very uncomfortable. Real labor contractions are in my back. Which i guess is good since im prone to pre-mature labor. At least i can tell the difference.

if her head was on your cervix then she would be stationed and at 14 weeks you would be hospital bed ridden for the rest of your pregnancy plus i have seen your current belly pic and she is not even kinda low......when you feel your belly rubbing on your thighs when you are sitting down or even worse walking, and you feel so much pressuse down there that you dont feel like comming on here anymore except to say *nope no baby yet....ill update you tomorrow*....yea that would be it, there would be no if and and buts about it. you would know your doc wouldnt need to tell you

angelmonkey - October 27

cant most people tell the difference? i mean BH like you said arnt that painfull (well not for me) but jeesh contractions are...........i can defo tell the difference

By the time i was 30 weeks with Zaiden i would pop on and off of here and i had my darkside squad, that was the only reason i forced myself to be on here as much as i was. Then in the end i was like 'darkside...............activtate........monkey poo........somthing........okay im tired guys see ya later"

hello db read properly! she was breech at 14weeks i corrected that and cephalic at 19weeks! im sorry but your not a doctor! i know how she was lying i seen her its written all my notes......im just going to be plain ignorant and say if you think different then your wrong because im going to listen to profsionals not people who think they know stuff they obviously dont..... and um db i dont have a recent belly pic so...um yea and its my body i know how she,s lying i know if if my belly rests on my legs when i sit down (which it does) haha my belly really hurts from laughing at your comment where you say you,ve seen a recent belly pic of lmao.........i have one on myspace that i uploaded recently but it was taken weeks ago i dont even know how many weeks i was it was before i found out what she was so yea up yours lmao

durante baby - October 27

lmfao you said she was on your cervix at "19" weeks (i forgot you fixed your contradiction) and you are saying that bellt pic is from weeks ago which mean as you claim she would be low in that belly pic as well.....again she is not low.....lmfao!!!!!! dont get too tangled in your words now!!!!..........and even a OB will tell you someone who has been through it before probably knows better then the doctor. so dont try to pull the "your not a dr thing" lmfao

no Ash really i like the amus____nt. I have been in and out of the hospital, trying to juggle the family work, school, and feeling like i am on my death bed. So now that I am on medical leave i really like the entertainment.....lol maybe we should make a "No a___l Allowed" thread though cause she seems to invade every single one

angelmonkey - October 27

seiously db you are dumb! let me explain! she was breech at 14 weeks!! that pic was taken roughly 16-17weeks so yes she was not low! um when did i say she was in my cercix? im just saying what the doc told me! which was her position atm is cephalic which she wrote in my notes! and on my notes there are little diagrams and under the cephalic position it says birthing position!! i have not once said what that consits of! as far as im concerned it means her head is down facing the exit! now you can say im lying you can thats impossible but seriously! why? im not listening im listening to my doctor and sorry db i dont care what you know as far as im concerned my doctor my midwife and the person that scanned me have a far better knowledge than you. and oh dont get tangled in my words lmao sorry but you actually got tangled not me oh im sorry ashley dont like it? oh well tough luck! better luck next time

ashley_1991 - October 27
