Actually Emma, She is right. I asked my doctor about this and he said that it can cause stress to the baby as well and is not good for it. Also it does not take 2 weeks to fertilize implant travel ect. It takes 7-10 days from the moment it fertilzes to implant. I got my BFP at 10 DPO. Army GIrlfriend, sperm can live up to 5 days, so just because you had s_x a week and a half ago doesn't mean you conceived then. It could have happened a few days later and once the egg is fertilized it takes 6-10 days for it to travel down the fallopian tube and implant. Once it implants is when your body starts to produce pregnancy hormones. At first they are to low to dectect but after about a week they can most likely be dected with a home pregnancy test, this would be about the time you are missing your period. So yes it could still be too early.

ANd one more thing. I am pregnant and my doctor did a progesterone test exactly 7 days after I ovulated and it came back at a 19. Which only usually shows with pregnancy. So there fore again you are wrong.

based on a 28 day period and a 14 day LP yes a woman might O 14 days before her period. BUT most women do not have this 28 day period and O at different times. The normal LP is between 12-16 days. Therefore again you are wrong.
