I WAS a teen mom so that's why I come here. Yes, I did come out quite well myself but it was terribly hard. I look at the other girls I knew who had kids the same age I did and they're still in their parents house, with their parents raising their kids, most of which don't have fathers around. I don't think girls realize how many times the men they love will abandon them even when they say they want to have kids with them. I'm not demeaning anyone, I'm not calling names, I'm just advising against what could be a potentially bad situation. I know it's in our nature to want children, God just look at a newborn and who wouldn't want one? But in all honesty there are few scenerios. If she stays in school, her parents will be watching the baby, or paying for it to be in daycare. They will support the child financially and take care of it half the time, or if she DOES work, she'll be in school AND have a job and not be around to raise her child. What if the dad leaves? Military men really don't make much to start out at. It's unrealistic and irresponsible. If you aren't even able to live on your own, I don't think you should intentionally try to support a child when you can't even support yourself. It's terrible that as a society we think it's ok for young girls to want to have babies. I know it happens, obviously I've been there, and when it does you do the best you can and offer help and advise. I think it unwise however to offer help and advise on a life altering decesion such as having a child to someone who is still one herself.

I know this is a very old post ..... Ladies who have a 28 day cycle should ovulate on day 14 they say if your ttc to start 12 to 16 days before Af is due this is your fertile window .. They say if using opk ovulation tests to start testing on day 10 to day 17 .. A sperm can live in a womans body for 7 whole days some die off and others can stay till 7 days wait around till egg arrives . onec a sperm meets a egg and fertilises it the egg travels down the fallop tubes while the egg is dividing into the many cells a pregnancy needs. Onec the egg reaches blast stage the cells then pop out of the shell the egg was formed in and implants into your uterus lining of womb .. It takes 7 whole days for the fertilised egg to make up the many cells and some ladies feel implantation pain 1 week after ovulation .. This pain can be felt on the lower left side like a quick sharp pulling pain .. We then call this the 2ww 2 week wait before we can do a pregnancy test so from a 28 day cycle So the first week is your bleed, the second week is your fertile window and the last 2 weeks is the 2ww .. I have tested with a normal test strip not a test early test and got a faint bfp with a few of my pregnancys .. Some being 4 days before af was due and my last pregnancy i tested 1 week early and got a faint bfp i was pregnant with twins so i had more hcg in my urine that detected straight away ... As soon as a egg implants into your lining it starts to produce hcg which can be detected in the blood as early as 4 days after implantation .. It doubles every 48hrs it then pa__ses into your urine so its TRUE that a woman can get a positive pregnancy test as early as 5 days before there period is due but its only gonna be a faint positive unless there is more than one baby increasing the hcg amount to be higher ... STRESS.. doctors say stress does no good in pregnany and cause miscarraige its no good for baby etc .. But when you think about people who have been unlucky enough to be in a violant relationship and be kicked around the place when pregnant and they go on to have there baby fine.. They say the baby is protected in a tight fluid filled sac stops infections etc ... Another is some people sadley experiance the loss of a loved one while pregnant and the crying and stress and depression that person has and done cant be good for a baby but they have there babies fine ... A baby can not hear or see anything untill there 6mth although everyones bodys are different and conception and pregnacy is a weird thing .. I actually ovulated twice in my cycle and was told that was impossible for a lady to do .. Untill it was confirmed by blood test that i did .. Avoiding all stress situations is the best no arguing etc is healthy when pregnant at All it has been known that a pregnancy can and has cancel its self out due to the stress the parent was feeling. ...
