It sounded like panic to me :P It's ok that was my first reaction too haha.

I agree with Amanda, i'm not sure that was excitement, sounded like it could be panic and disbelief, but sometimes it's hard to tell on the internet.

haha Yeah that was more panic and disbelief than excitement, but I'm starting to realize that it's not as bad as I thought. I can still go to school and it's my senior year so I'm gonna do my best to graduate, and really I have no doubt that I will. My teachers all love me, I'm a straight A student (maybe not this year though lol). Thank you all for being so supportive. I really appreciate it! I'm still kind of in shock, and I haven't told my parents yet...but I'm going to today probably..if I can work up the courage. But I've told the father, my boyfriend, whom I already planned on being with forever. He's gonna stay by my side and he won't leave me. He recently transfered to a college closer to home, so now we'll see eachother more (he's 20 years old). Anyway, thanks again everyone! And I'll try to keep posting.

You'll do fine amp. I was 17 when I got pregnant too (well, I'm still 17) and I'm doing great. I'm actually doing better in school than I did before haha. Keep us updated on everything. Good luck with your parents... mine didn't take it so well XP

Amp, good luck to you, you've got a hard road ahead of you but it sounds like you will have lots of support so that is good. Also, make sure you start taking prenatal vitamines, it's very important for baby's development, and call to get your first doctors appt. set up Usually they don't see you until you are about 8 or 9 weeks but given your age they may want to see you sooner
