Welp, I'm 31 weeks! I just wanted to share that Victoria is ALREADY in position. Yikes! I'm still a cm dilated and measuring just right along, but carrying very low and her head is already in place. The doctor said "Wow you're carrying low." pulled out her tape measure and started feeling my uterus and she said "Oh her head is already in place!" I've got bets with people that I'll be going into labor anywhere between nov 21st - dec 11th lol.

31 weeks wow! You're almost there! Rylie was in place at 26 weeks and even tried to come out. Her face was a smashed when she was born fron being in the birth ca___l for so long. It only took 2 days for it to look normal though. Except her left ear. It took a couple months. She had 2 completely different ears for a while. Im also carrying this baby extremely low. My OB and the ultrasound tech couldnt believe. Had a swab test done and it was negative. No signs os pre-mature labor as of now! (knock on wood) Ill really be beating the odds if i dont!

I remember going in for a private ultrasound just for kicks at around 27 weeks and the ultrasound tech just casually said "Alright, her head is down." My first thought was "Oh no I'm going to go into premature labor! This is all happening so fast!!" Haha, I was very paranoid about that kinda stuff. Anyway I'm glad to hear Victoria is cooperating! How far along were you when you had Addy?

Wow newbaby, that's nuts but at least she's fine now. You're carrying low too, already in position??? And amanda, cute story lol. I'm not really paranoid really. If she comes early she does. Oh well. I don't want her to but meh. I was 37 weeks when Addy came, lol.

Wow, angel. You're 24 weeks pregnant and so uneducated about the birthing process? And i though you were just in labor? Lmao. There is more to being in the birth position then being head down. All babies are head down at some point. Its their head being in the birth ca___l at a certain "station" as they call it. Stations range from -5 through +5. -5 is floating freely. 0 is thebaby has dropped into the pelvis and +5 is visable at the opening of the v____a.
Addy, did they say what station she was at? Ya Rylie was one crazy baby. She was determined she was coming out. No one can believe i made it to 38 weeks with her. And worked the entire time. It was very stupid of me but i didnt really have a choice. I was dialated and Rylie was at a +2 station. Luckily she was at least a smaller baby.
So Ryan gets off work at 12 today. Im supposed to have everything packed and ready to go when he gets home. Its 11:10 and i havnt even started. Ugh, its a cold rainy day. I have no motivation!

I love those cold rainy days, but the doctor said she has dropped down into position. I took a pic last night, IDK if you can TELL if I have dropped or not, but that's what the doctor said lol. But plenty of women drop and don't go into labor for a LONG time... for example, my friend is 6 days overdue lol poor girl. But anyways, here's the pic. i155.photobucket.com/albums/s283/soinlovewithyou88/31.jpg obviously you gotta add in the h and t and that you get the point. Anyways. Yep, so I'm there. Mother stopped by and said "Did you get bigger??" I said "Maybe, but she's all ready! AND in place." So heh. But anyways. I LOVE cold rainy days, I am so jealous of you :(

oh and she never told me what "station" .. I just didn't bother to ask, but if I had to guess it'd be right before dropping personally. I don't think I've personally fully dropped before.

Angel, would you appreciate it if AddysMummy went into your post, claiming you'd be fine, that she had been in a similar situation and was fine? You made an uneducated claim to something you've got no complete understanding of. If you were in labour, how is it you do not know the difference between head down and being in position? Position indicates lower than -5 station, perhaps she's at -3,-2, -1, 0. You should educate yourself before using your fingers to speak for you.

look little stalker i have a feeling you are amelia.....i may be wrong you may not have a clue what im on aboit but i thought i,d throw that in there! it doesnt make a difference what addy said! its totally normal for a baby to be in that position at any time! you should stop a__suming things and stop a__suming the doctor didnt tell me this or that because i didnt tell you

You're very uneducated. Facing downward is normal, as babies move. But being in the pelvic area is only normal once reaching a certain point. You'd know this if you educated yourself. I'm sure AddysMummy never once said it was abnormal. I'm sure she was expressing her excitement for the impending birth of her child. You've mucked up yet another post with your stupidity.
