I only just got my period one week late. It was really heavy, short, and dark. I had unprotected s_x two weeks before my period was due. When my period was due i took four pregnancy tests throughout the week but all turned negative. Could i still be pregnant?

I'd say negative because it was heavy. A logical explanation would be that since the lining of your uterus stayed in there longer than usual, the bleeding was heavier and darker (old blood). If it was a light short bleed then I'd say go to the doc for a blood test because yes that could be possibly pregnant, but in your case I'd say no, because it's not supposed to be a heavy bleed if you bleed at all when you are pregnant. Now at the same time, people can be pregnant and have a missed miscarriage in those first couple of weeks, and that could be the case, but it u took any pregnancy test before the bleed then it should have come out positive if that were the case. So no, I really think it was just backed up blood.
