Angelmonkey is freakin inescapable. I cant even post in the febuary mommies thread in the 2nd trimester forum without her contradicting everything i say. Apparently, im not gaining enough weight and "have some catching up to do." I have gained 4 lbs which is perfect for being 17 weeks. She thinks gaining 28lbs at 18 weeks is right on target. What the h__l is this girls problem? Is it possible for someone to be so attention starved they have to try to ruin a good thing for people thay dont even know? It all seems so pathetic to me.

Im right on target with my weight. They say 1lb a week bcuz they dont want you to gain anymore then that. . My weight gain comes from the baby growing which i know he/she is and thats all that matters. I did the gaining to much weight thing and im soo not doing it again. Its to hard to lose afterward. My next appt is Thursday. Ill get the go ahead then to schedule the big ultrasound! Praying for a boy!! ↑

oh thats funny as im also on target? and i,ve gained 28lbs? surley if they didnt want you to gain ober 1lbs a week my midwife would tell me im gaining to much weight as i gain about 2-3lbs a week? i dont think i,ve gained to much weight? i,d rather know my baby is defo growing enough than not alot...............also my midwife messures my womb at 20 weeks and im 18weeks so maybe im further along and they havnt figured yet? anyways i love my baby bu,p! i feel it helps me bond with my baby more. also im not bothered how much weight i gain! as long as my babys growing and healthy thats all that matters ↑

Newbaby please dont let her get to you. You are doing fine with your weight! I gained a whole 11lbs during my pregnancy and my daughter was absolutely perfect when she was born. They ONLY want you to gain 20-30lbs while pregnant!! She's obviously gaining too much, your fine! Dont let her ruin this for you, as long as your measuing on target and your u/s's are ok there's nothing to worry about.

Oh my bad it's 25-35. With a 3-5lbs weight gain in the first trimester, 1-2lbs a week during the second tri, and 1-2lbs a week in the third tri. You have what 5 months left? That would mean if she gains the RECOMMENDED amount she'll gain between 20-40 more lbs! You'll gain the right perfect amount.

ugh- i so just typed forever and my d__n laptop messed up and restarted. Grr. Thanks ya'll. Ashley, there was actually a post before that where she says i "have some catching up to do" with my weight. She really thinks people believe shes right on target having gained 28 lbs at 28 weeks? I cant help but laugh at that. Regardless of your starting weight you're only supposed to gain 25-35 lbs overall. As Amanda said. I did the whole being a fata__s while pregnant thing and so regretted it. Being pregnant is so not an excuse to gain all the weight you want. Anyway, Ryan and i went out to Red Lobster and shopping tonight. I love endless shrimp! We rented Prom Night and im going to enjoy the evening. Well its 1130 pm so night i guess, lol. Race today got rained out, n Rylie is at her great gmas.

Newbaby - you are doing great girl! I gained almost 70lbs with my son. But I needed some of it cause I was 115 lbs. and I am 5'8"..... With my dd i gained about almost 60lbs(again underweight before hand)....with this one I think I am on the same track! uugghh...I was underweight again at the start of this pregnancy but I am quickly racking up the lbs........I have gotta cool it, I am about to start working out, I didn't want to in the first trimester cause I was scared since I had the 2 m/c in 2007 ↑

See some people can admit thay are gaining too much weight. It is hilarious that you're trying to say you've gained 28lbs by eating healthy. Stretch marks come from to rapid weight gain. If you pace your weight gain to NO MORE then 1 lb a week you're much much less likely to get them. You're not supposed to gain AT LEAST 1 lb a week, its NO MORE then 1 lb a week. I gained 50+ lbs with my daughter and didnt get a single stretchmark bcuz i didnt go ridiculously overboard as you have.

yes ok newbbay i forgot you know everything! im obviously not overdoing it amd yes i have stretch marks because my body is growing rapidly dur i was way underweight its obviously catching up! im sorry but im going to listen to my midwife not you trolls. i dont look fat i just have a bump so im happy! you obviously are underweight i mean you say you,ve gained osmething like 2-3lbs? your nearly 18weeks you should gain 3-5lbs in the 1st tri alone! then 1lbs a week! so durr that works out you havnt gained enough! meh even if i,ve gained a little much by th eend of this pregnancy do i look bothered! at least i,ll look healthy i mean pffftt im done with you loosers
