ok so im 16 and my boyfriend is 19 and we have been together for 2 years now. me and him have decided we want a baby and we can afford it.. so we tried the other nite and im excited to find out.. was it a good idea?? when do u think i should take a test? cause we tried when i was on my period. do u think i will still get pregnant??

No, it was not a good idea. How exactly are you affording the medical bills and baby furniture, place to live (I'm sure your parents and his parents are done having babies by now so out of respect to them and your future baby you should be living on your own in a place that has enough room for baby's furniture and room to practise crawling, etc)? What I thought was "good money" at 16 isn't even close to enough money to afford to raise a baby. Are you planning on dropping out of high school then? Looking after a baby and keeping up with your studies is nearly impossible and I'm sure your future child would not like the embarra__sment of having a drop-out for a mom. Sorry if I'm harsh, but it's time for a serious reality check. Think about how much better of a mom you will be when you're say in your 20s, finished school, college educated and have really experienced more than high school and living with your parents. How could you be a good role model for your future child if you have no real life experiences to draw on?

What is wrong with you? How can you afford alllll of that with you only being 16 and him being ONLY 19 ? Are you insane ? Finish high school go to college and make something of yourself and realize what is actually money to afford a baby. Do you really think at 16 and 19 you both make enough money to raise a baby? I'm sorry but no nothing short of winning the lottery or getting an amazing amount of money left for you do you have enough money. Grow up first sweetheart. Babies are hard to raise, and they aren't BABIES forever !

dont have baby can be the biggest mistake off ur life and you need money to have a baby.wait till u have a bit off a life im 17 now and im 11 weeks pregnant and miss not going out with mates and going to partys lol:) just wait and have some fun being a young mum can be hard even when ur pregnant still takes ur life away from you but its ur life and ur choice just make sure u feel u r doing the right thing

lord, if you don't know when you should have s_x to have a baby do you even know where a baby comes from? at 16 you are not ready for a baby it doesn't matter that your bf is 19... stay in school get an education and then get a career...then worry about trying to play a grown up.... i would bet ALL the money i have that you and your BF will NOT last no matter HOW much you THINK you will.... so why make a baby together? you can't even get married yet and you want to have a baby whose mother and father aren't married and don't even live in their own home...thats sad....

I'm sixteen and pregnant...and i think im goin to do just fine just because were sixteen doesnt mean were dumb and actually you can get pregnant on your period, but its very rare... unprotected s_x= possible pregnancy!

we aren't aying that being 16 makes you dumb.....we are saying trying for a baby that young is dumb. nand for whoever say you can't get pregnant on your period....your dumb. You can ..its rare but it can happen.

No it isn't possible to get pregnant on a period. It's possible for sperm to stay in the uterus until AFTER your period though. But not to get pregnant DURING a period because you are releasing the egg that was not fertilized/even if an egg is released during your period and it's fertilized what good does that do you as the lining of your uterus is shedding itself.
