thanks you everyone for your help, but i have 1 last couple questions!! i have been spotting for like the past few days, not too bad again just half a tapon a day, but with the colors... (tmi i know sorry!!) but i know dark brownish and light pink is OK but what about occasional bright red and some real dark red with the brown?! ha thankkks

Honey, that really doesn't sound like IB, I'm sorry. IB only happens to like 10-20% of women anyway, and I think less than 5% get any red blood or blood lasting several days. It sounds like you have had an early period or strange period. If it's about time for your period anyway then that understandable, and I'd go ahead and take a pregnancy test to be sure. I'm sorry implantation bleeding occurs because the egg is burrowing into the lining of the uterus and yes, sometimes people have it for a couple of days, then it stops for a couple then they get a little more for a day or two. That is because it is still burrowing deeper, but I've never heard of like a week (aren't you coming up on a week almost) of straight bleeding and now regular period blood. Also IB is usually spotting, some people get a little more like what you say, but not for several days. Filling half a tampon for several days doesn't sound like IB. Go ahead and take a test whenever you are due for your period, and if it's positive, make sure you call the doc right away and tell them about this. If it's negative, I'd write it off as a strange period. Our bodies go through changes every so often as we age, and it happens.
