Aww nb I thought that the seperated pelvis would heal itself on bedrest or somthing....i guess not. Do you not know the s_x? i thought you did? How did your appt go? any u/s?

newbaby2009 - December 10

Nope, Ob said there is no chance of relief until after the baby is born. He didnt put me on bedrest because he said it doesnt do any good. Its actually really bad after ive been in one position for a while. The worst pain comes at night when i roll over or something. It pops and sends like a hot searing pain through my pelvic area. And of course if i walk more then 10 feet at a time. Appt. went ok. I failed my 1 hour glucose and had to do the 3 hour. The results were higher then normal but not in the problem zone. So they're just going to keep an eye on it, i dont have to do insulin or anything. At my 20 week ultrasound tech said she thought it was a girl. But a a possible hereitary condition exists that may make it impossible to know until birth. The tech didnt know about it or i doubt she would have made a guess. My OB scheduled me for an ultrasound tomorrow but im going to try and reschedule it in the morning because Ryans boss called and said they have an important job to get out tomorrow. My poor baby girl is so sick. She has almost completely lost her voice and has a horrible cough. She was coughing so hard earlier i went in to check on her and she puked all over her crib. She puked for over 5 minutes. She kept trying to catch it and clean it up. I felt SO bad. Then we got in the shower and i just held her and let the hot water run over her back until it ran out while Ryan cleaned the crib. Now shes trying to sleep but she keeps having bad coughing fits. Of course the night she gets sick i cant find the vicks baby rub and we're out of infants tylenol. *sigh* The little things can make you feel like such a bad mom.

NB- i know its easy to say "dont feel like a bad mom" cuz im about to say it to you DONT FEEL LIKE A BAD MOM lol but i also know what yu mean, when your child is sick and you can do nothing you feel bad. I hope she gets better soon =) Congrats on the possibility its a girl hopefully they will be able to tell you for sure at your next u/s as for the pelvic seperation, I cant even imagine how much that would hurt!! Not much longer to go and then it will heal and you can feel better! best of luck hun!

durante baby - December 11

NB mind me asking what the possible hereitary condition is?

newbaby2009 - December 11

Well basically its a hernia that wraps around the male genatalia causing the p___s not to grow anymore after it occurs. Ryan had to have emergency surgery immediately following birth. Hes completetly normal, well minus one t______e. It doesnt always show up on an ultrasound. I have an ultrasound next Thursday and they're going to check for it and if they did by chance spot it, there is a surgery they can do while the babys still in the womb. Though id think id pa__s on it. Ryan had the surgery after he was born and he is perfectly fine.
