Tanyia, your baby sounds like she is doing just fine. Weight wise she is actually right where she should be for 25 weeks. The average length is supposed to be about 12 in or 30 cm, but keep in mind that babies move around a lot and the u/s tech may not have gotten an entirely accurate measurement also babies grow at different rates so she could hit a growth spurt and catch up or be ahead, either way i wouldn't worry about it. If it was a problem your doctor would let you know, congrats on the girl, btw i really like that name.

haha yeah Dominik was a big boy- the doctor (who wasnt my doctor my pregnancy) that delivered him obv didnt read my papers and told me my baby would be small and just to pretty much shut up and push and when he came out 8 12 i looked and i went "small eh?" lol right now Bella is measuring like 17 inches(i think) and that was last time i was there and she was about 4lbs, apparently he thinks she will be "a bigger girl" lmfao i just hope shes not bigger than Dominik since his shoulders got stuck for a long time (any wider and he wouldnt have been comin out that way)

my estimated due date according 2 my last period is feb 4. the u/s tech said according to her size, my due date is feb 11. but then she said while i was 25 weeks and 2 days, i was measuring 24w 1d. (good or bad?) i mean its only a 7 day difference from the date i was given, but should i be worried about her size? think she'll just be short???

well im just a little worried...its my 1st baby and im hearing so many different things idk what 2 think! (im hoping they measured her crown to rump)

No, don't worry at all, babies come in all shapes and sizes, yours seems to be a little smaller at the moment but she has plenty of time to grow. As long as she looks healthy and everything is developing the way it should she should be just fine. And like i said before, take into consideration that ultrasounds are not always accurate she may be longer and/or heavier than what she is measuring.

My daughter was measuring 3 weeks behind... everyone was worried she wasn't getting enough amniotic fluid but all the tests confirmed she was. She's just small! She's still small :) It's in her genes. Some babies are big, small, short, tall... As long as they're healthy there's nothing to worry about.
