2nd Child But Scared To Death Anyone Else

This is my 2nd child and I had a bad experience with her birth - 4th degree tear, 100+ st_tches, and I'm so scared its going to happen again. I've spoken to my doctor about it (I changed doctors for this baby) and he said it probably wouldn't happen that way again. How can I ease my fears and anxiety about it??

Same here. I had a traumatic first birth. Everything went wrong - the epidural got messed up, I was in shock from the anesthetic, blood pressure dropped to where I couldn't even wake up...then 3 hours of pushing (she had a cord over her shoulder), vacuum suction, so the dr. made an episiotomy (without any pain relief mind you, hahah) then she st_tched me up for about 45 mintues. So now I'm 34 week and trying not to even think about until I have to. Plus it's easier not to think about with a toddler to chase!
