35 Weeks And Hubby Leaving The Country

Hey, I am a little nervous here because my husband is going to Toronoto tomorrow for 3 days. I have been having some sporatic but strong enough to take my breath away contractions every evening for a few hours before bed. What are the chances...right ...i mean...right?????

I had a very similar situation. My hubby left and was not out of the country but he was about 6 hours of plane rides away. I was 35 weeks 5 days and same as you having decent contractions at night. I was very stressed about the trip--we made the decision months ago and it didn't seem like a big deal at the time! But basically I just took it easy while he was gone and rested as much as possible, and I was fine. If you would go into labor hopefully he would have time to catch a flight and make it back. Hopefully that doesn't happen though. Anyways, I am now 37 1/2 weeks and still here, but glad the trip is over. I think what you said...what are the chances in those few days. Hi, my husband was due to go on a trip too (I'm 36.5 weeks). I'm happy he didn't end up going but had scheduled for a good friend to come and sleep over. That made me feel much better so that's what I would recommend, even if the chances are really small at least you will have someone with in case you do go into early labor. Good luck!

Oi! I'm glad my dh didn't leave town that late in my pregnancy, because I had my boy at exactly 35 weeks!
