I don't know if this is normal, but I get punched and kicked so much more now... For like 15-20 minutes at a time, it's NON STOP! and then I get a little reprieve. It's really strong too. I though movements would be milder or decreasing by now. What do you guys think??

Well I'm not as far along as you (I'm 33 weeks) but I definitely notice an increase in movement recently. It's almost like he's running out of room so I feel every single little movement, whereas before it was more of a random kick or punch here and there. But now I really feel him rolling or even if he just moves his leg or something. My doc said fetal movement shouldn't necessarily decrease the farther along you get, it should just be more calculated. Like you should be able to tell whether it's a roll, kick, punch, etc. I think it may decrease as they drop, because they are moving down into the birth ca___l.

I'll be 37 wks tomorrow and I've been having the same problem. She has been kicking and shoving for the past two wks and it seems like she is moving more now then she did before. I would like to if this is ok too. Tomorrow is my appt. so I'm gonna ask the Dr.

well, I'm almost 40 wks 5 days, and my little boy is as active as ever. I too thought that his movements would decrease as his space got more crowded and he started dropping, but that hasn't been the case. He's been really active this whole pregnancy! The way it feels just changes. My doctor said that you really can't have TOO much movement. Movement is good! So ask your doctor, but I'd say don't stress about it and enjoy those movements! :) ~Rachel
