Blleding All The Way Through Pregnancy

First off all congrates to all you ladies...my question is have any of you had bleeding all the way through your pregnancy or know of anyone who has..Just asking because my friend just found out shes 3 months pregnant but she has been having period like bleeding every month and didnt have a clue she was pregnant, just wondering if any of you experienced this and if it continued all the way through.

One of my friends actually had her period half way through 2 of her pregnancies. Both babies are perfectly healthy.
