Bloody Show After Membrane Sweep

Ok... I went to the dr yesterday for my 39.5 wk check up. I'm pretty sure she sweeped my membranes to help me out a bit since I was only 1 cent dilated and 70% effaced. Anyway, a few hours later I noticed a lot of discharge with blood and also some clumps mixed in. Could that be the bloody show or just due to the exam? Im not really sure what it looks like.

Amanda, I am not sure but it does sound like thats what it is. I hope so yay!!!! Are you having contractions? Keep us updated. Good luck

Sounds like it - I bled a bit and had some nasty stuff come out when they did that to me with my dd....good luck with it, it didn't work for me. :)
