what is this?? im not getting my hopes up AT ALL...but just curious. I will feel like some cramping in the lower abdomen and then a tight BH...is this the "EARLY/FALSE" labor or is this just "BODY PREPARING" (im so sick of hearing that c__p lol). Just wondering. i have decided not to get excited about anything unless im on the floor bawling cause ive had friends who were sent home several times...im just wondering about this pain though...

hey there - you will KNOW when it is real labor. :) My sister told me that and I still kept asking - but once I did experience true contractions it all made sense. It sounds like your body is getting ready - dilating a bit. I think I just read on another post that you are 37 weeks? With my dd I had cramping like that off and on for a few weeks - several times I thought for sure I was going into labor but it wasn't so.

I think you might be having some real contractions that are actually changing your cervix possibly. I have been having the same thing since early last week and look were I am now. I just got back from the hospital because I have been having those same pains since 4pm and they said I was in the early stages of labor so I am now back at home waiting it out which is what I wanted to do. They are thinking in the next couple day I should possibly be having the baby. I will let you know. I hope your are contracting and its progressing that cervix of yours!!!

Shala, I did walk after I was already having contractions for an hour. It actually felt good to walk and I wasn't able to feel too much of the contractions while moving. I only had 1 contraction stop me in my tracks due to the intensity. I honestly don't know for sure if it helped but from what I have always heard is that walking and s_x it what kicks things in gear. Try it and tell me what happens. GL and you know we will be chatting.

i will try to walk...s_x...i doubt it cause my b/f made me mad...so...lol. i dunno about that one. maybe i will make up with him but ONLY for my sake. lol I havent been having any contractions. then i thought lo was head down but i had another BH that made my uterus look sideways and i could swear it was a head and bottom that was formed??? im going to ask docs to check that for sure Thur. yes we will be chatting...i want to know if you have lo early...im sure you will

LOL, don't worry I was arguing with my dh when we left the hospital because he seems to be so impatient about our baby getting here so he says c___p like your not going to have him for another couple weeks and it p__ses me off because he is just trying to not get his hopes up but at the same time its negative thinking when I am the one in pain and going through all of it. The doc said last night I was in beginning stages of labor and he kept telling me she said I wasn't in the beginning stages of labor. I said why in the heck would she even mention anything about beginning stages of labor verse false labor. He tried to argue with me and I was not having it at all. He then got mad and said I can't wait until you have this f***ing baby. That p__ses me off when he does that because he thinks I am just a horrible person sometimes when I'm prego but what he doesn't know is that I am one of the nicest people when prego and I just have my moments which I am allowed too. I tell ya, MEN, UGH. All the nurses and the doc couldn't believe how calm I was and I told them I am just a really easy going person and if I'm in labor I am going to be happy so why not enjoy it, Ha! Yes I hope it happens soon but I don't think my dh and I will be doing anything like s_x to get it going because I am tired of his little smart a__s remarks about me being done prego and being negative about when I'm going to have the lil guy. Today he better just stear clear of me because not only do I feel poopy because I am constantly having contraction and they are geting more intense, I'm just not having it with him having an att_tude while I am trying to go through all of this. His a__s needs to be rubbing my feet and c___p like that not being a jerk, UGH. Listen to me I do need to hurry and have this baby. Anyways hon there is not guarantee that s_x will help but I really do think walking will work alot because of the pressure it will put on your cervix. Just be careful if you think he is transverse you don't want to go into full labor but walking might make him change his position too. I say walk walk walk and see what happens.

the pain could be anything really. I had very bad cramping with my daughter, it ended up that my uterus got sore from her kicking it so hard. It could just be stretching. It could be contractions... are they regular? Do they bother you where you need to sit down? If so it might be labor cramping. Braxton hicks for me were not painful, just very very uncomfortable. Your whole tummy turns into a rock it seems like. But MY personal guess would be your uterus is sore from all the kicking. If it goes on all day just call the hospital and see what they have to say, never hurts to just ask.
