dh and I are counting the days down till our little one is here with us. This will be our first one and our doc has yet to do an exam. DH is a best man in his best friends wedding tomorrow. We are worried I may go tomorrow lol. But without the exam we have no idea if I am efaced of dialated. Has anyone experinced this?

Yes I had my son last june 12 days before my edd,anythings possible,but being your first I wouldnt worry so much.Good luck,try to have fun.

today i am due in 13 days too.....today is also dh birthday and all he wanted was for the baby to come- it's 9:00p.m. and i don't see it happening. I was checked two wks ago and not dialated etc- just a soft cervix. they won't check me again (unless i request) until after my due date. It feels like he isn't coming before my edd. I've had period cramps and my dr said those are mild contractions but other than that i have been feeling abnormally energetic and normal.
