I went to the doctors this morning and had the in-office, GTT testing, where you don't eat or drink after midnight, then drink the gross sugar drink. The nurse said I was at 145 and I needed to be under 140, so I have to go friday and do the 3 hour lab test. But they didn't say much past that. Does this mean I have gestational diabeties? I'm 29 weeks and if anyone has gone through this before?

I dont think they can diagnose you with it until you take the 3 hour test. They will probably explain more when you get the results back from this test. I have never had it so I dont know what really happens after they determine that you have it. Good luck though, I hope everything is okay.

You don't necessarily have gestational diabetes. The next test will be a lot more reliable.
