I know I posted a little on the Feb mamas thread but here is the full birth story, which contains a little advice for those seeking out how to jumpstart your labor...LOL. So.......on Sunday night (Feb 10th) my hubby was wanting to be a bit frisky....I had been having some sporatic contractions and said what the heck maybe it will help I am really tired of these random contractions . At about 3 am I felt regular contractions but I didn't jump up to time them immediately cause last time I did they stopped...well a few hours later it seemed that they were getting a little closer so at 5 am I decided to time them-they were 6 mins apart. Had to wait a little bit longer before I could go to labor and delivery...by 6 am they were at 5 mins apart and waited a bit to make sure they stayed that way...at 7 called L&D who told me to come on in...We arrived at the hospital around 8 after loading all the stuff in the car. They checked me and said I was 5 cm dialated and that she was definately coming today. After 2 hours the contractions were still at 5 mins apart so the doc came in and asked if I wanted pitocin to speed the contractions up or if I wanted her to break my water...I opted for her to break my water. When they broke my water they said she had had a bowel movement and had to run what was like an IV bag up into my uterus they said to try to flush it out so she didn't swallow any....I became really scared and started asking questions they said they refused to answer. Not even a few minutes after they broke my water the contractions were coming on strong and frequent. I started asking for the epidural and they said soon...well the overwhelming urge to push came over me and they said I couldn't have it and had to get the doctor in there ASAP. Hayden was born face up, which was why I had bad back labor(which as the nurse said the pain was making me irrational...lol. I don't think screaming out obsenities is all that irrational during childbirth...lol) They managed to get her out quickly without swallowing any of the poopy waters Thank God! They still never told me what would happen if she did. She was born at 11:16 AM on Feb 11th weighing in at 6lbs 9ozs and 18 inches long. She had a beautiful headfull of dark hair and is the spitting image of her daddy right down to his facial expressions and bad gas(LOL) I ended up having to have 15 st_tches as I ripped again where I ripped with my first, plus in two other places as well. All in all, every ounce of pain was worth it in the end because I feel like we have the most beautiful daughter in the world. And Leslie I think we are all biased about that fact right there...haha!

Thanks everyone. It wasn't so much easy as it was quick...if it would have been slower I probably had been wishin for death. The pain was awful, but the end result was just beautiful and worth it all. I did tell them one time I quit and I want to go home...lol
