Home Hobbies To Make Time Go By

Does anyone have any home hobbies to help the time go by faster. I use to crochet but I don't feel like doing that right now so I need some ideas. I have a daughter I take care of all day but she is easy to take care of and usually plays so I spend alot of time on the internet, watching tv and doing house work but that all only last for so long. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Come help me paint my bathroom and do my nursery... have I procrastinated? Absolutely! I am 35 weeks and still finishing projects. I had to wait until we had the money to get going on some of this stuff, though, so that's my real excuse. But other than those projects, I am just a cleaning machine. Sigh.

I would love help you paint. I have to still get my baby bedding for my son otherwise he will be in my 16 month old daughters b___terfly and flower bedding, LOL. Our money has been really tight so we have just got some things but we need that still. I tried to ebay bedding but lord have mercy, the prices are just as high as if you were to buy it brand new. They were even going for $150 + and that doesn't include the shipping, Yikes.

Are you planning on sending out birth announcements to family and friends? Because you could organize all of your addresses now, and even pre-address your envelopes. Some friends of mine loaned me a Season of "House" (which we can't get on our tv channels), so I've been watching lots of episodes! That has done wonders for pa__sing time! Best of luck!

Jenice, Awesome ideas!! I know I already watch lots of tv so trying to find something to do while I do that so maybe I will get birth announcements together. I was actually going to email the announcement but I do want to send out a family pictured eventually to family and friends but not sure if I should wait until a holiday or just do it to announce our completed family. We just moved from our home state to a further one and it would be nice for everyone to get a updated picture even if its not for a holiday. Thanks for the idea!

Cors that is a great idea! I totally need to get my sc___pbook supplies together. I still have to pace myself to line up with the finances... I can only work so much a day. My poor muscles are aching from priming the bathroom. I couldn't find my roller pole so it was not fun! I haven't even finished it. I am waiting for DH. Poor guy thinks he's just going to get to do his homework when he gets home Hahahahaha (evil laughter).

Yeah...start something big. (My hubbie started a major home renovation 3 weeks ago, and it won't be done for a few more!) Anything at all...as long as it's something you really don't want to have interrupted. I figure, Murphy's Law applies...as soon as we start on something that we don't want to have to stop, something will happen to bust up our plans (like, maybe baby??). It's what I'm banking on, anyway. lol. Although, I do know that the stress of a major project isn't too good for us either, as it can delay labor. Arghh. Something I did the other day was go through all of our files and re-organize our filing cabinet system. Took a long time, as hubbie isn't exactly organized! It was something I could do while watching tv. Have you started a baby book for little one?? Filling in all of the information at the start takes a while (dates of ultrasounds, and gifts people have given you, etc.). Oh! You could write out personalized thank you cards for any gifts that have come your way (or, if you're super creative, make your own cards). Or, get ahead on next Christmas, and start making Christmas cards. Hope you find something that helps the time pa__s!

u can come over my house! i have so many little projects that are up in the air and i cannot seem to get motivated to get them done! i have all these beautiful picture frames and all these great pictures but they sit and collect dust! i need to get motivated and put the pics in frames and hang them! there's an idea for you. also, sc___pbooking is a great way to pa__s time and is so worth it! those books will last forever. ummm...do u like to cook? bake? also a great way to pa__s time and also is mult_tasking which is always the best hobbie. i cannot sit and play games or cards....i have to do something that i feel is completing a task....like cooking, sc___pbooking, cleaning, etc. oh, and if all else fails it is nice to get out and go to the mall. walk around or sit and watch the people pa__s by. good luck. enjoy b/c once the lil one arrives u will be wishing for down time!! :)
