I personally just can't stand the smell of pampers. I think they're a lot thinner than huggies too. I've always used huggies but it seems like all the kids I babysit use pampers and it seems like you can just feel the wetness comming through them. But they are cheaper so try them they may work for you!

i perfer pampers swaddlers, they fit dd wonderfully, and they are plenty absorbant...i have never had a leak with dd, and she sleeps through the night in her diaper...

I used the pamper swaddler brand when my daughter was a newborn, LOVE it. once she hit size two I switched to huggies because i had issues with her leaking in the pamper ones. i love huggies natural fit. I HATE luvs, they seem so uncomfortable to me.

ok this is an old post but im gonna put in my 2 cents worth :o). my son 6 days old now and i have been using 'pampers swaddlers' and 'huggies newborn bellyb___ton cut out' both randomly to see which i prefer and which he prefers. the huggies seem to be a bit stff and rough but i havent had any type of leaks, also, not sure if it was because my milk changed so his poo changed or what but something made his lil b___s stick to the diaper even with ointment! im not joking it was sad!! the pampers didnt do that to him at all, they are softer, but dont have a bellyb___ton cutout, and have leaked. so, i prefer the huggies but pampers is what ill be using till we figgure out and stop whatever the reason is for him sticking to it!!
