Is 31 weeks too late to get a 3D/4D ultrasound? I finally found a place that offers them and would love to get one, but I guess if you're too far along you can't see much because it's so cramped in there. I hope I didn't miss my window.

I *think* they say the best time to do them is between 28-32 weeks so you might want to schedule one soon. They're pretty cool :)

The tech told me that the best time to have them done is before 30wks, so go and get one done asap. I had one done at 26wks with both my pregnancies. With both my babies were already a little cramped. With my 1st baby was snuggled right into the placenta so we didn't get that many good face pics, while with the 2nd he was so breech that his legs were covering his face alot. But with both the experience was amazing and we did walk away with so many great pics. Totally worth it!

I've had one at 17, 21, 25, and 29 weeks and gotten some decent pictures. She always takes a couple at the end of my ultrasounds for me and they always come out well and since they aren't there to measure things, just to let you look at the baby I'm sure you should be able to get some nice ones if you go soon. She does always says he's really photogenic and it helps that I'm thin and have just the right amount of fluid so who knows, maybe I'm just lucky. The only problem we ever had is he always has his hands in front of his face but she also said that's a good sign of development when they do that. He was also measuring a little over 31 weeks (at my 29 week one) if that helps you be more optimistic.
