Hi i am 38 weeks pregnant with second child i have been havin loads of contractions but only lastin a couple of hours then go away and i have constant back pain and really sore down bellow can any1 tell me if i am in slow labour

It's hard to say my guess would be no because when you start labor your contractions become consistent and you should be able to time them and eventually not be able to talk when having one......but if you are unsure you should call your doctor! Good luck!

I would say it is the start of something!! If nothing else there is something moving around!

hey lisa - I've been having contractions, cramping, achy back and a sick feeling for the last 3 days off and on. No baby yet. Sounds like things might be getting started though. Just keep an eye on things and time your contractions or call your dr if you are concerned. :) Good luck! I'm 39 weeks on Monday so I'm right there with ya...
