You really need to call your OB. I have had two children, our youngest will be 4 months on Tuesday. If your uterus isn't tightening, it could be something else concerning, or it may just be gas bubbles. If I were in my 3rd tri and having pain like you are describing, I would have my hubby drive me to L&D. They will hook you up to the monitors and make sure everything is alright. They are there for you, if nothing else it will give you peace of mind.

This has happened to me three times already. All you can do is talk to your doctor and let them decide for you to come in or not to be monitored. How far along are you? If you are not very far they will most likely stop this for what you are having is very strong BH and trust me I know they hurt. Real labor pains will stop you from doing everything even talking, at least that was what the nurse told me. When you have them there will be no doubt you will just know.

I would think if there that bad, go in and just get checked! I am 3 days over due right now and wish I was having pains..lol...anyways ya if they are that bad just go in and get checked for your own piece of mind and to know that that baby is ok! And if its nothing and its just BH well then I wish you luck through those rough BH...they are a pain!!

I will be 33 weeks tomarrow. They went away last night and now i'm having them again. I think they might just be very painful Braxton hicks.

austynsmommy, it's happening to me too. I'm 39 weeks now. I see my doctor on Monday, I can let you know what he says.

My OB said that it was probably just from all the pressure and weight. No progress for me and due date is 2 days away.
